I fear we spend far too long worrying about what others will think, often suppressing our own desires and true selves.
We are human, born with our own opinions, our own looks, our own thoughts.
Embrace you
You are special.
You are unique.
Surround yourself with those who love you for who you are, not those who wish for you to change parts of your physical appearance, or your opinions, in order to garner their approval.
Seriously. They really don’t matter.

I love, love, love this quote since I heard it for the first time! Sometimes you need to slap yourself in the face in order to realize that you are tearing yourself apart for pleasing people who will never appreciate it. Actually, whatever you do won’t ever be appreciated, no matter which way you do it! So do it your way and at least it works for you!
