Sue’s #Writephoto prompt this week.
Black-winged messenger
Soaring through the skies
On a mission to deliver
Words to the unwise.Black-winged messenger
Gliding to his destination
To speak his words of wisdom
To the assembled congregationBlack-winged messenger
With feathers widely fanned
Delivering a message
Bringing peace throughout the landsRitu 2017

After always associating it with Game of Thrones, “black wings, black words” – your poem is so full of hope! A fresh change for me.

This is lovely, Ritu. You get extra kudos for writing such wonderful poetry with your “frazzled teacher brain.” 😊❤️ xo

I love the idea of the raven bringing peace…he’s a much maligned bird as a rule.

You can say whatever you like my dear His Geoffleship!!!
Though this is what a frazzled teacher brain produces whilst dragging itself to the nearing finish line (next Friday!) I don’t have it in me to change anything Lol!!!

I think the following Sunday will… I have to rush from school and get the kids and in-laws to drive to Birmingham as we have a wedding on Saturday there! Once I am back at home, Saturday evening, then I can really relax! Tired.com!
