“It’s amazing. Life changes very quickly, in a very positive way, if you let it.” – Lyndsey Vonn
A lovely quote Spidey, thank you.
This quote is all about keeping a positive mindset, a favourable outlook towards life.
Have you not noticed, that when you are feeling down, slightly negative about situations, it seems that the bad stuff appears to happen more?
Yet those people who brim with positivity sometimes seem to have everything fall into place for themselves?
I think both positivity and negativity are like magnets.
They are a type of energy within you and depending on what you radiate out, you will attract back.
This is why I always try so hard to keep a positive spin on whatever is happening in life. It’s not easy. Believe me, there are times when I have wallowed in the depths of negativity and felt nothing will ever be right again, then something shines forth, and beckons me to the positive side again.
Maybe because I am open to thinking positively, I see that glimpse, and it helps to bring me out of a potentially damaging funk.
It only takes one spark to light a fire. Let that spark light a flame of positivity in your life too.
Stey positive Peeps and enjoy your Sunday !!!!!
If there is something troubling you, a situation you are uncomfortable with, take the time to find a positive within it. You can write it in the comments below, or store it away in your heart, the spark that will keep your positivity fire burning.

I know that I am often negative but I am trying hard to turn that around. One thing I have never done though is holding grudges as that is way too destructive. Great quote, Spidey! 🙂

Hi Judy. Not only is it destructive (you are ahead of so many people by acknowledging that), but it also gives that person power over you. i.e. if you see them, you will probably tense up; hope they don’t talk to you; what will you say if they do; will they be at Saturday’s party; perhaps you shouldn’t go etc. etc. etc.
By not bearing grudges (just forgive them for whatever they did… learn from the experience… and move on), you are maintaing total control over yourself! Good for you. 🙂

Thanks Colin. I agree, it does give them power over you. I think holding grudges also eats away at you too, gnawing away and causing pain. 🙂

Try as I may to keep smiling and not loosing my sense of humour I just don’t see things improving. If smiling helps I should have the perfect life… I don’t and I don’t believe anyone does. That said Sis, lovely post and sentiments Sis 🌹💜

Good for you Willow. Sometimes it is difficult to see the sun through the clouds, but be assured it is there. Have a wonderful day… and keep smiling (it will at least make people pause to wonder what you’re smiling about!)

There is always a positive spin to everything, but it takes a conscious decision to look for it. If, however, one puts the effort into looking for that positive spin, the world really does change! Reflecting on my life experiences (past and present), developing a positive outlook has been pretty much a saviour.

I love that, sis! It goes along with a lovely message I received on Twitter yesterday: “… wrap your fears in love.” That is all it needs. When we really do that, our attitude changes immediately. We become stronger with a solid foundation beneath our feet, and most happenings are not able to confuse us anymore. We differ between what we do (and what happens to us) and who we are! Happy Sunday, Sis!

I tend to be positive most of the time, Ritu. I rarely get depressed. I usually throw my toys when I am upset and take decisive action which can be destructive but I don’t care at the time. My oldest son says that I lash out – not physically towards people but with strong actions.

It is a good way to view life, when we do our best to find the positive in the middle of a not so positive situation, Ritu. This help us to get through mood and to attract more positivity.
