“Back home… Mum’s cooking… bliss!”

Yes, Peeps. I am with the folks for a week, enjoying the fact I can regress to being a child once more, with my parents around me. Days to be treasured. ❤

One Liner Wednesday – #1linerweds

For Linda’s #1linerweds challenge.

“Isn’t it amazing how words can tell a story, take you away into another magical world? Simple combinations of letters that spin a tale and enchant those who read.” – Ritu

As I sit here, during my self-imposed #RiNoWriMo, it really does amaze me how my words transport me into a different space… I have to bring myself back to the present, to feed the kids lol!

Now, I’m not saying what I am writing will be a best-seller or anything, (though I can hope!) but it feels wonderful to be really writing again!

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

One Liner Wednesday – #1linerweds – Time

“How can six weeks of holiday speed past as if they were mere minutes, yet the one week leading up to them take, what feels like, a whole year to pass?”

One Liner Wednesday – #1LinerWeds – Naugh-tree!

“Even trees show a little modesty! (Or is she being provocative?) Ooooh! Naugh-tree!”

One Liner Wednesday Shoes – #1LinerWeds

Linda’s #1LinerWeds challenge is upon us…

Seriously… How does a child manage to come home in two different shoes… different style, and even different size… not to mention both are left sides of a pair… and still not notice?!

20170703_174040

Yes, yes, I know it’s one line and all that, but I had to explain! Lil Man came home after a PE lesson that day in one of his shoes, and another two sizes too small! Admittedly the shoes were in his bag as he came home in his trainers, but for a short while he had actually worn them, and still not noticed!!!!

Had to do a mad dash three weeks before the end of the school year to get him a new pair of shoes for school.. never cheap at the best of times… because school are sticklers for correct uniform, and it was unlikely that the other show would get recovered!

We were the responsible ones though, and got him to take the odd shoe back to school, to lost property, in case it’s partner was to turn up! Maybe, just maybe, his other one will get handed in too!
