Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “ha.” Use it as a word, or find a word that starts with those two letters. Enjoy

Ha.

I read this and rather than think of a word starting with ‘ha’ I automatically thought of laughter.

Ha ha! Giggles, titters, guffaws, sniggers. Laughter, see!

And then what laughter means to me – Happiness.

There. A word that begins with ‘ha’!

I love to hear laughter, the giggles of a child, the titters of your friends, trying to hide their amusement from others, the loud guffaws when something tickles you so much that you can’t contain yourself, sniggers when you are finding something amusing that you shouldn’t.

Seriously!

An impromptu overnight stay at my in laws house, as we had visitors. ..
The rush to go home, feed Sonu and settle him for a night alone…
Gathering the kids things…
A late night in a bed not my own…
A fitful sleep waiting for the even later sleepers to get to bed, hoping they wouldn’t wake the children. ..
The inevitable early wakeup that kids like to give you…

I’M TIRED!!!!
WHERE’S MY BED??!!
I think I slept for about 4 hours! Oh well at least I’m on holiday. My poor sis in law had to get up and do her usual 1.5 hour drive to work, bless her!

I saw this post on my friend Ritu’s blog that I wanted to take part in. Its a post telling where you are from and where you have been. See the original posts here I decided it sounded like fun.

Where in the World...

I was born in Fortuna California, USA in the summer of 1969. Fortuna is a city in the county of Humboldt in California. I consider my hometown as Eureka California though.

OUR BUILDINGS ARE VICTORIAN STYLE:

THERE IS A HISTORIC PLACE TO WALK BEGINNING FROM ABOVE AND THROUGH BELOW WHICH IS OLD TOWN EUREKA. THIS IS JUST ONE VIEW OF THE WONDERFUL WALK.

EUREKA IS LOCATED ON HUMBOLDT BAY AND THAT LEADS TO THE PACIFIC OCEAN. THE OCEAN BEING JUST A BRIDGE RIDE AWAY. OLD TOWN AND THE BAY ARE WALKING DISTANCE FROM MY HOME.

PACIFIC OCEAN TO THE LEFT AND HUMBOLDT BAY ON RIGHT WITH EUREKA ON LAD UPPER…
