Day 4 – #musicalmarch🎵

Day 4 of #musicalmarch🎵!

I thought I would devote today to friendship! Two songs ab0ut those people who, despite having no physical connection to you, are so important in our lives!

The first has to be You Got a Friend In Me from Toystory. Hey, I just love Disney films!

The Eastern tune today is a total classic Bollywood song from the awesome film Sholay! Yeh Dosti. It is a song that, despite being around 40 years old, is still played by groups of Asian friends, especially at weddings and when having a drunken session! All about a never ending friendship!

Spring #writephoto

Sue’s #writephoto prompt this week.

the-silver-well-3

Spring forth with new life
Drink from me to renew self
Feel energy soar

~~~
But drink sparingly
Drops are better than huge gulps
Just enough for you
~~~

Remember the words
Enough’s as good as a feast
Too much, you’ll regret

Day 3 – #musicalmarch🎵

Day 3 of #musicalmarch🎵!

I can’t let this month go by without mentioning sone of my favourite songs while growing up! This is sort of my tribute to Wham! and George Michael (RIP). I loved the Wham! songs! So here is Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!

And for my Eastern song, a track from a film called Hero, with Jackie Shroff as the main guy. I was a bit of a Jackie fan as a youngster! Nindiya Se Jaagi Bahar… I loved singing this!

Day 2 – #musicalmarch🎵

Day two of #musicalmarch🎵!

Today I share a funny song from my youth! Joe Dolce and Shaddap Ya Face!

And a cute classic Hindi tune from the film Padosan. Mere Samne Vali Khirki Mein. In it, a man is trying to woo a girl by singing, but he has a terrible voice, so he gets his singer pal to sing, as he mimes, to impress his lady friend! A sweet song, and cute video!

Any funny or cute songs you wish to share?

WRITESPIRATION #105 52 WEEKS IN 52 WORDS WEEK 9 – Emotion

Wednesday means it’s #writespiration time!

Sacha’s prompt this week…

This week, we’re playing a game. *muhahahaha* Write your 52 words describing just one emotion, BUT you’re not allowed to use the name of the emotion or tell me what it is. I want to guess.

I hope I did this right!

Each second passing feels like an hour.
My stomach is twisting up in knots.
My fists clench and loosen, then clench again.
Unknowingly I begin to nibble at the dry skin on my lips.
Looking up at the clock, I almost gasp.
It’s time.
I pick up the phone and hit ‘call’.
