Day 12 of Linda’s #JusJoJan challenge, hosted by herself again today!
The Just Jot It January 12th prompt, brought to you by Tessa of the blog Always A Writer, is: “Tingle.” Use it any way you’re inspired to. And make sure you stop by and say hi to Tessa as well! Here’s her blog: https://finallyawriter.com/
A little poem I wrote …
Crush
Just a little tingle
of excitement
Just a frisson
of joy
Not wanting to
get too happy
Need to act
a little coy
Need to keep
myself in check
Or else the world
will see
How much I
am affected
Because today
he looked at me!

Sasha’s back with the second prompt for #Writespiration.
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.
Submit your entries in the comments or on a blog post and I post them the following week with the new prompt. You have until Sunday to enter.
This week’s prompt is to write about the badly timed trump!!
So… here goes…
She could feel the pressure building.
The music was loud. Surely letting one go wouldn’t hurt…
They slipped out to the beat of Beyonce’s latest release.
Relief.
Last one.
Out it came, loud and proud, as the dj faded the tune out so the Groom, her new husband, could start his speech.
There you go Sacha!!!!

Day 6 of the #JusJoJan Challenge set by Linda G Hill, and hosted today by Rosemary Carlson.
Now for your prompt for January 6. It is brought to you by Prajakta at https://anarmchairperfectionist.wordpress.com/ Your prompt is: “Tangible.” Use it any way you like. Make sure you stop by Prajakta’s website and say hello to her!
I thought I’d be brave and combine it with two other challenges this week
#WritePhoto by Sue Vincent, for which the prompt is Gold, accompanied by the photo below.

And Sacha Black’s #Writespiration prompt.
So without further ado, the first writespiration of 2017, 52 words exactly and you need to include the phrase…
The timer started
So, here goes…!
The timer started.
She looked ahead.
A clear path.
She looked back
No one near.
Then she began.
Ran like lightning.
The goal tangible.
This was it.
Gold was hers.
A car driving past woke her from her daydream.
Looking up, all she saw was the country road stretched out in front…
