THE Face!

Do you understand?
Do you sympathise?
It’s an expression all parents have
Just to emphasise
Their feelings to their lovely kids
Without raising their voice
Though when said kids don’t even see
There really is no choice
But if they see that murderous look
That glance from mum or dad
They immediately know that things ain’t good,
In fact theyre pretty bad!

Perfect Imperfections

I’m not perfect but
My perfect imperfections
Make me pretty close
Ritu 2015

I’ve been in bed all day. Worrying about something that is out of my hands, but the culmination of which could change my life considerably.

It involves an acceptance, or in essence, a rejection.

But it occurred to me that it’s really up to me how I take whatever the outcome.

If it is a positive, then really, my tension should go away, and I should be able to sleep peacefully at night, happy in the knowledge that I was the right person, the perfect person.

But if it ends in rejection, does that mean that I am not good enough? Not perfect?

Well the above haiku I penned is what I decided. No matter what the decision, for my faults, or imperfections which we all have, I’m perfect for me.

I’m perfect in someone’s eyes.

Maybe not everybody’s but I don’t care!

There may be things about me that might not tick everyone’s boxes, but my differences are what make me the person I am, and the way I am, brings much, to many.

So whatever the outcome, I will look in the bright side. I won’t take it as a kick in the teeth if it is not the outcome I wanted, but that I’m standing at the bottom of another learning curve which I will overcome too, and that with a smile on my face!

And if I get the acceptance I crave, then I’ll probably berate myself for not having more faith in myself, but again, it’ll be with a smile!

Be positive Peeps, it’s the best way to be!

If you’re not, you’ll end up like me today, in bed with a sore head, something I do NOT wish to repeat!

My glass is always half full! Never half empty…

Bus man’s Holiday

Please! Don’t tell me!

My two week holiday, done!

Back to school tomorrow,

After lots of fun!

School is calling

It needs its staff

Am I rested?

Are you having a laugh?!

Over four hundred kids

Around me each day

And that’s cool, you know,

That’s school, but hey!

When you’ve kids of your own,

No such thing as a break,

You still have to get up,

There’s breakfast to make.

Fights to split up,

Homework to do

Kids who are bored

And housework too.

So maybe it’s not

Such a bad idea

School’s tough,

But I get more rest than here!

No Writing… Only Reading…

Hello Reader!

Hello Reader!

Tonight, I don’t wanna write
I think I might just read
Appreciate you other folks,
Instead of feed my need
My need for likes and comments
Is growing quite insane
But thinking up another post
Might just blow up my brain!
I think I’ll do some reading, folks
And hear what you’ve to say
And like and comment on your posts,
That is, if I may…?

Ritu 2015

The thing is, will I manage it?  The amount of times I have said I wont be posting, I have things I need to attend to, or I am going somewhere, like last week, and I still end up on here, checking notifications, reading and, of course, writing!!!!

In fact I think I even posted MORE than usual last week, if that is possible!!!!

Still I am going to try!

Looking forward to catching up on some of your posts my lovely BlogPeeps!
