I Have Been Interviewed…On Radio No Less!

A few weeks ago the lovely Annette contacted me, asking if I would like to take part in her Radio Podcast Tell Me A Story on the radio station The Magic Happens.

I was tentative, nervous even, but a tad excited too… and you know me, I can be like a young excitable puppy sometimes!

The other night we sat ourselves comfortably down for a chat that should have lasted half an hour, but went on into the ‘over an hour’ range! And the interview was born! So if you would like to spend just a measly half an hour listening to my inane ramblings, and Annette’s dulcet tones, please click here or below…

The Podcasts are in alphabetical order and I see I am in very good company, but mine happens to be at the top!

So please, have a listen and let me know what you think!

Pull up a chair and get cozy as we take you to England so you can enjoy this podcast of Tell Me a Story featuring Ritu Bhathal. She’s a lady who makes many of us look like we are standing still, what with being a wife, mother, daughter, teacher and friend. On top of all that, Ritu […]

A bit about the book

Noelle Harrison is a hard-working wife and loving mother to two young sons. Although supportive of her husband Wayne’s professional pursuits, she rails at his constant out-of-town travel to conferences and seminars. What about her needs and wants? Then one day on her way home from church… There are two sides to every story. Or maybe three.

Available on Amazon Kindle and Paperback

Pamela D. Beverly’s author bio simply makes me smile – I guess it’s her calling herself ‘The Jacqueline of all trades.’

I am a Jacqueline-of-all-Trades but a master of none. Mostly I’m a student of human nature that enjoys writing and studying mankind. I have traveled all over the United States as well as to several foreign countries and enjoy meeting people of all races, religions and creeds. My main wish for mankind is that we learn…

World Poetry Day 2017

A little light hearted poem from my book for World Poetry Day.

Poetic Confusion

Tried to write a sonnet,
Was on it like a car bonnet.
But whatever I wrote
Every scribble and note,
Didn’t rhyme at the end
Drove me round the bend!

Tried a haiku,
What to do?
Five, seven, five
Yet still I strive
To work it out,
I have my doubts…

Ballad, ode, elegy,
Epic, lyrical poetry
Epigram, allegory,
Irony, cacophony.
Terza rima, doggerel
Or an ABC poem.

So many poems, what to write?
Is it wrong? Is it right?
I’ll write like me
That’s best, you see
I’ll rhyme and vent
To my hearts content!

It’s Raining Reviews

This morning I woke and received such a pleasant surprise!

img_1865

Annette, who is a most inspirational person, a fantastic Haiku-ist (is that even a word?!), a promoter of positive thinking, who even has her own radio show, emailed me to give me the heads up on a review for my book, Poetic RITUals.

It was her review, and it means a LOT! Such sweet, positive words, and another 5 stars!

And the lovely words written by Wendy on a blog post were also up there too!

It now means I have 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on Amazon.com and 6  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on Amazon.co.uk, and 1  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review on Amazon.de.

That is 11 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews altogether. I am so humbled, I can’t quite explain it!

If you have managed to read my book, I would really appreciate a review on Amazon,  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ or not, it all counts!

But seriously, a HUGE thank you to you all Peeps!

thanks

Second The Best!

Peeps, I cannot thank you enough, those of you that voted and/or shared my repetitive posts over the last week.

The Author Shout Cover Wars this week featured my book, Poetic RITUals, and thanks to your help, I came second only to the rabid Zombie Dogs! (Congratulations to that book and author. I am no sore loser!)

You know the old rhyme,

First the worst
Second the best
Third the one with the hairy chest!

Well… there you have it!

Sorry… That is the child in me coming out…!

Seriously, though, a sincere thank you.  It is wonderful to see who is out there in our blogily, willing to do that extra bit to help our blogily members! Whether it was one vote, or a daily occurrence, or a share somewhere on social media, they all helped, and I am very happy with the result!

If you are interested in checking out my book, click myBook.to/PoeticRITUals to go to the Amazon of your country to take a look and purchase if you wish!
