Linda’s prompt for SoCS this week…
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “spoke.” Use it somewhere, in some form, in your post. Bonus points if you don’t use it in the first sentence. Enjoy!
There was a young lady from Pinner
Who always appeared such a winner
But she spoke as she ate
Not bothering to wait
No manners while scoffing down dinner!
Sorry, such a silly effort, but my brain was on strike… nothing spoke to me… apart from silly limerick rhymes!

Happy Saturday Peeps!

Charli’s prompt this week:

April 19, 2018, prompt: In 99 words (no more, no less) write a story about forest bathing. You can use the Japanese term, Shinrin Yoku, or you can make up your own ideas about the phrase. Go where the prompt leads.
Peace of Mind
The twigs crackled underfoot.
Leaves rustled in the gentle breeze that blew through the forest.
This was true peace.
Heaven.
Karen had heard about forest bathing, and she was determined to experience a piece of this natural healing.
Strolling along, she could hear the feint trickle of water.
Getting closer to the sound, it appeared to be accompanied by splashes and voices.
As she rounded the corner, Karen came face to face with a group of drunk men, submerged in a pool of water, having a jolly of their own.
Not quite the forest bathing she had been expecting!

Gently reassuring you

Hoping you will understand

Velvety petals
Crushed beneath our hot bodies
Hands clasping
Smooth sheets below
Quickly reaching
Quiet climax
Clutching each other
You complete me

A little naughty, maybe
But that’s what heat does!
