And what truth in those few words.

There are days.

We all have them.

Bad days, days when you think nothing can get better. But you would do yourself a favour if you remember these words.

Things can, and will, get better. It’s very rare to be in a whole life that is ‘wrong’. Moreso the situations that can arise may be bad, but you can get yourself out of them if you really try. And if the situation is out of your control, it is worth remembering, that with every beginning, there is an end.

There are so many saying and quotes around this particular issue, you know.

Today is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Treat every day as a new start.

Live each day as if it were your last.

Lots of things that essentially mean the same thing.

Make the most of everything you have, all the opportunities you are given. You never know what tomorrow may hold, so you need to live your life to the fullest.

Every day.

Ok, so maybe it’s not possible to be full of enthusiasm every single day. We all get ill, there are situations where you are so down that it never appears to get brighter.

But try and remember, every day, you can wake up, and try and make that change in thinking. Try and be positive. It can shed a whole new light on what you are going through.

Really liking the thought behind this quote.

You know, it’s true, we can’t always change circumstances or situations. In these times it is important to be malleable. Acceptable to change. Be able to compromise.

I remember a piece if advice I was given, when I was about to get married. A lady, much respected by my parents, wanted to meet me. She had come over from India. She said “The other name for marriage, especially in our Indian culture, is compromise. Nowadays too many young girls get married, and try to change everything in their in-laws house straight away. What you should do, is go there, and see. Give love, recieve love and with love, you can help people to change. If you bend first, slowly others will bend with you.”

Might sound a little backwards to some, but you know, it works!

When the wind blows, bend, or you may end up broken.

Bend peeps, bend!

I know you are not all believers, in any religion, but this particular quote should ring true with all of you who do believe in God.

He is that light. And if you believe in Him, He will shine in you, from you, and for you. In all those moments of darkness, He creates the light that finally leads you to your rightful destination.

Sometimes it is just up to us to actually open our eyes and see that light.
