Charli’s prompt this week:
Life Savings
Nervously, Frank handed the package over to the girl.
“Now, be careful with that-” He paused to look at her name tag “-Jennifer. I worked hard for those dollars. Now they tell me I gotta keep it in a bank, and not under my mattress. Safety, they say. It was plenty safe with me – until they got that new cleaner in. I don’t like her. Always tidying. I know she knows where I keep my money…”
Frank watched as Jennifer’s fingers flew, deftly lifting and counting the bills, like a seasoned pro.
“You will keep it safe, won’t you?”

Sue’s #WritePhoto Prompt this week:
Rising high above the valley
Blue skies draped with wisps of white
And a hint of golden sun
Shine an ethereal light
Across our world
Though situation
May try to drag us down
If we rise high enough
Even we can view
Our world as a place
Of beauty and opportunityRitu 2018

That Plot, from Losing The Plot Blog fame… OMG, she is hilarious! IF you haven’t seen her blog, you have to go over! She has been writing a series of posts and includes cartoon strips featuring some blog names you may know in a fictional series which is so funny!
Just an example, featuring Yours Truly!
Anyway, where was I?
Plot has kindly passed the Three Day Quote Challenge in my court, and it’s been a while since I did one of these!
So, the rules…
1. Thank the person who nominated you…Thank you! Link back to them too so they can see your quotes.
2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three bloggers each day.
So, thank you Plot, for thinking of me!
I decided to theme these challenges aa while back, so in the spirit of the wet English Spring that has now hit us, the theme will be ….
So, Day two…
” The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” – Dolly Parton
Wise woman, that Dolly Parton!
I’m all about embracing the negatives, because they always bring about positives… we could get all cliched, you know, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, every cloud has a silver lining, etc but hey, their meaning is true! There is always something to hang on to, something to help reel you towards that rainbow, but often you do need to get rained on to achieve it.
And I nominate… Alice, David, and Amelia!
Thank you and good night day!
I’ll be back tomorrow with day 3’s showery offering!!!!

So, Day one…
“Some people feel the rain. Others get wet.” Bob Marley
Love this quote!
Do you feel the rain? I love to watch it. I love to feel it when it is warm, in the tropical countries. I love to think about how it is nourishing everything around, even though it may have just soaked me due to an unexpected downpour!
However, when it means we can’t let the caged animals kids out at school at break or lunchtime, like yesterday, it creates an atmosphere akin to a lunatic asylum in a school as kids NEED fresh air and run around time!
It was a bit of a mad day, but that would be whole other post!
So, there’s my post for the day.
And I nominate… Katie, Hayley, and Willow!
Thank you and good night day!
I’ll be back tomorrow with day 2’s rainy offering!!!!
