Day 14

My muse, my tea my workstation!

Get Social!

Yesterday, I mentioned about your sharing options…

Today I am telling you to get set up on all those sites too!

Instead of sharing your posts to your personal Facebook page, set up a page for your blog, so you can tailor it to your blog, and add relevant other posts comments and images as you find them.

Get yourself a Twitter account, Pinterest, Mix, Flipboard, LinkedIn… all of these places are great for you to share your own work, but also for you to share the work of others.

And you can link most of these to your blog too, so some will share your posts automatically, or if someone was to stumble upon your profile on there, they could find your blog easily too.

Beneath #writephoto

Sue’s #WritePhoto Prompt…

What lies beneath?
No one can tell
Are you living in Heaven
Or burning in Hell

A calm exterior
Can hide so much
Yet the ripples spread wide
From just one touch

We're guilty of judging
From one single glance
But everyone needs
More than one chance

Day 13

My muse, my tea my workstation!

Sort out your shareability!

I mean, make sure you have all avenues to share your posts via various social media activated on each post.

You might not be a Twitterer or a Pinterest pinhead for example, but many of your readers are. If you at least have the sharing options available on your site, then there is a much bigger chance that your posts could get discovered via Facebook, or Flipboard…

Day 12

My muse, my tea my workstation!

Find your voice.

This is quite simple.

Don’t attempt to copy someone else’s style.

Be you.

Find your niche – or don’t (I never did!) but always find your voice.

Your voice gives your blog it’s personality, especially if it is a blog that is not connected to a business.

Your blog should be able to allow your creativity to shine, be it poetry or fiction, ramblings or recipes.

Your style is what will make your blog readable, what will attract like-minded bloggers to your site. Something that is identifiably YOU!
