Here’s another new one!!!! Challenged by Akanksha to write a paragraph without adjectives…. What???!!! Noooooooo! Those that know me, know I’m a wordy person, I cannot help, but describe various things around!! This’ll be interesting!!!
Rules:
1) Write a paragraph without using a single adjective.

It was a day like any other, no different from the rest. A girl sat with her arms crossed against her chest, under the tree. She looked over at the boy, kicking a ball about with his friends. He looked like the kind of guy she could like. But she knew nothing about him… She couldn’t even really describe him to anyone… Why? Because she wasn’t allowed to use adjectives!!!!!
There you have it, I apologise if any adjectives slipped in along the way!!!

Five facts about me…
- I am just slightly obsessed with Magnum ice creams… in fact I’m eating one now!!!
- I have a thing about hats… nearly every year I buy one or two summer hats, and in the winter, various woolly hats, but I never wear them! They are sat above my wardrobe, looking at me, waiting for me to decide when would be a good time to wear them!
- I love board games!!!! Scrabble, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuits… love a family board game night!!!
- I am a hoarder… I cannot throw things away! I have pile and piles of stuff.. that is ‘too useful’ to get rid of! but then you know what, I know I should bin it, and that I probably will never need it, but its Sod’s Law…. when I DO get round to making myself separate myself from my beloved junk… I end up needing that very thing, within a week!
- I am terrible at investing in fitness gear… only to see it collecting dust, or becoming a clothes horse within a few weeks!! I have various machines and things, and they are all great! But not great when I don’t actually use them!

Lil Princess has been making me laugh recently…
LP: “Mummy, I have 1 bit of good news, and 2 sad ones…one, [so and so] called Lil Man a name, and you know Lily? Not the one in your class, but my friend? Well, she died…”
Me: “Oh My Goodness! Who is Lily?”
LP: “You know, our pet ladybird…!”
Me:” Oh, ok, well that’s sad…”
LP: “ And the good news… I can now paly Four Square!” ( a game they play at school)
Lovely news from Lil Princess there!
This morning,
LP: “ I tried to get another pet at lunchtime yesterday… Daisy the Ant… but it died. Aliyah stepped on it… But I love nature now! I’m so happy!”
She loves nature, thank goodness, but seems to make the mini beasts around her keel over when she gives them pet status! Lol!!!
