“Count your blessings, not your eggs.” – Ritu
Sometimes we spend far too much time, getting excited over what may come to pass, rather than sitting back and appreciating what we already have.
Take time out today to be thankful for that roof over your head, that meal in front of you, the clothes and shoes keeping your warm and dry…
Be grateful that you can read, and write, that you have a voice that is listened to…
Appreciate the people in your life, the support network you already have…
Think about your blessings, and thank God/the Universe for what you have.
Peace out Peeps!

Thank you so much, Aishwarya, for nominating me for the Liebster Award! I have received this several times previously so I would like to thank you by sharing your post, and encouraging my dear Peeps to go and visit Aishwarya’s blog!
Because I am sat here, I thought I would at least answer Aishwarya’s questions though!
Q.1 What do you think is the most beautiful creation of nature?
Children are the most beautiful creations in my eyes!
Q.2 What/ who is your inspiration for blogging?
I didn’t even know what blogging was until I accidentally fell into it… so I can’t say I aspired to be like anyone else, and since I started, I have come to realise that there is no point in trying to be like anyone else.. there are millions of blogs and bloggers out there. It’s best to set your own goals, and expectations, and do the best you can!
Q.3 What is your favourite memory till date?
It’s very hard to isolate just one memory once you reach a certain age; Graduating getting married, the birth of my children, becoming an aunty for the first time… seeing a child I teach finally ‘get’ something… precious moments with my grandparents… holidays with my parents… what do I choose? All these memories mean so much to me…
Q.4 Please answer honestly : Do you think there is a sitcom/ show better than F.R.I.E.N.D.S?
I think Friends is one of a kind.. it has tired the test of time, and 20 years later, is still on reruns and is brilliant to watch! In fact my son has just discovered it and loves the fact that Comedy Central has it on all the time!
Q.5 Which is your favourite cuisine?
World cuisine! I can’t choose! I love certain aspects of so many foods out there!
I realise from a lot of my answers above, that I am not a particularly decisive person lol! I don’t have many favourites, because I like to keep my options open lol!

Colleen’s back with her synonym poetry challenge!
The words to (not) use are:

First, a haiku;

That red sky at night
A fallacy of nature
Scribed as a delight

Then a cinquain;

Fable
Pencilled story
Rousing, moving, stirring
Words to inspire humanity
Legend

Finally, a tanka (as it is Tanka Tuesday!);

Drafting a letter
To allay your delusions
I lay myself bare
In my words find truth and pain
Find an olive branch proffered

Day twenty-three of #JusJoJan!

I’m going to try to write on each of the prompts!
Today the prompt is:
Your prompt for January 23rd 2018, brought to you by the kind, considerate and eloquently snarky Supernatural Snark, is “Colour.” Use it any way you’d like in your post. And make sure you visit Snark at her blog, “Supernatural Snark” to read her post and say hi! Here’s her link: https://supernaturalsnark.wordpress.com/
Colour
What colour is your soul?
Pure as the driven snow
Or dark as the shadows of the night?
Does it glow bright,
Like the morning light
Or is it dim
Like covert sin?
Is it a rainbow
Reflecting every hue?
A complete picture
That is truly you.

See you tomorrow!
