This week, the prompt is Blind, and it needs to be used in one of the C lines.
Here goes….!
Everything seems just so surreal
When will this world begin to heal?
Politics covering the truth
Blaming the aged, and the youth
We try to see, they just conceal
I feel like I am going blind
Maybe I am losing my mind
My thoughts muddle with one another
Feelings that I try to smother
But it’s just life, the daily grind

I logged in this evening to check my blog and in the notifications sat this little beauty, nestled amongst the comments and likes.
And I have had a blast the last six years!
Thank you all for putting up with me, my silliness, my ups and downs, my (possible) pearls of wisdom, my observations, my creations… basically my everything I post.
Thanks to you all, my blog has won awards that I hold dear to my heart, I had the courage to finish that novel, and publish it, I’m writing another, and I have made the most amazing friends.
My blogily are the biggest reason I am here. Without you all encouraging me, liking, commenting and enjoying my posts, I may have given up a long time ago.
I’ve had years where I posted multiple times a day, a whole year of posts every day. Recently, I’ve been quieter, due to the current situation, and work/life stuff.
But you.
You’ve been there throughout.
Thank you.
Seriously, thank you all. I hope to be here for a lot longer, too, and look forward to (hopefully) being able to entertain you all as long as I am able!
I always love to promote work that is for a good cause, and an anthology that is selling for charity is definitey a good cause.
One of the Facebook groups I am a member of, The New Romance Cafe, has another short story anthology, in time for Christmas, and all proceeds go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. (Another, because I mentioned the first, Twelve Days of Kisses, a couple of weeks ago!)
True love and timeless romance. Journey through history with these sassy and spicy short romances.
Breast cancer affects one in four women. Here’s your chance to read a swoon-worthy book and help others at the same time.
Curl up in your comfy chair in front of the fire and know that every book purchased, and every page read raises money for breast cancer research.
This historical romance collection has it all:
The Old West
Regency aristocrats
A female Samurai
Chanukah in Scotland
Breaking conventions
The American civil war
And sweet Victorian Romance
